    1. Hi, J Ong, Thanks for stopping by! First I don't understand either before I got help from our Chinese & Korean friends! I'm so grateful that in PSH fandom, we share what we know to the others and make all of us happy together!^^

    2. Hi this J Ong. I'm lazy to log into my google acct. ^^ I had met PSH in 2013 once in Singapore. He was shopping with his bro. He asked me for directions to Isetan from Ion Ochard. I recognised him in the dramas Ijimae, Family Honour and Princess Prosecutor that was broadcasted in SG. I told him so but I also told him I didn't take note of his name then. 8p He was friendly n polite. I sense his bro v protective of him n in my heart I felt their mom would be v proud of them. I hope my sons will grow up to love n protect each other like PSH & his bro. 8)

    3. Hi J Ong, I'm from SG too. Really, PSH was in SG last year...exactly when in 2013? He was in US for 3 months till early October.
You are really very lucky to have this chance encounter with PSH. Wish I had your luck...I'm really envious of you.
What did he say when you told him you recognised him? Did you get his autograph? Unless you can speak korean, you must have communicated in english with PSH & brother....

    4. PSH and his bro can speak in English but not fluent. I communicate with them in English. He said those dramas I watched were quite long ago. ^^ then he said there's a recent one already finished shooting n if I had watched it? I told him not yet n I'll try to look for the DVD. At that time I wasn't into K drama that much until towards end of 2013 where I come across drama websites that provided lots of past and latest K dramas for free viewing. These websites survived from advertisement put up on their websites. From these websites, I managed to watch most of PSH's dramas he acted in. ^^ J Ong.

    5. I didn't get his autograph as it came as a surprise to me to meet PSH n his bro then. Nobody at Ion Orchard is aware that he is there shopping! I think he would want a huge crowd of screaming fans surrounding him there so I talk to them softly and as inconspicuous as possible not to attract attention. He asked me how old I am n if I am Singaporean.... a qn that I get thru out my working life.... cos I don't look like a tyical Singaporean with my Oriental look and fair skin. Asking about a woman's age is a Korean culture, I learnt much later, but at that time, I told him its a question he should not ask in SG where our culture is more westernized. 8p He seems wanted to know so I relented n tell him my age n both of their faces go 8-o Then their talking manners towards me changed to a more polite tone esp his bro. But PSH told me to call him "Oppa" which I didn't understand then n asked why call Oppa n what does it mean? He just giggled... Much later, I learnt what it meant n felt "cheated" cos I'm older than him n yet he asked me to call him " older brother" ! -_- III Yeah that's about what happen in the mere 5 mins of encounter.... J Ong

    7. Wow! I love the story like this!^^ Thank you for sharing your fortunate experience with PSH & his brother! Lucky girl! You're so lucky that you met him when you weren't quite a big fan of him yet otherwise she wouldn't be able to find a word to talk to him & had all the story lik e this to share with us here besides my heart beating so fast, I'm almost fainted,! Hahahaha! That's just my imagination of myself meeting him in person!^^ Love your story very much!^^ Any more!^^

    8. Sorry again, J. Ong! You means he was in Singapore around Apr - Jun 2012, right ? Because in 2013 he's still dealing with the case! I don't think he could go oversea yet. If in 2012 it must be between his last fan meeting in Japan and before he came to Thailand for " Music drama " Boy " around August, 2012! I couldn't remember when he went to Singapore for The award ceremony ( sorry can't remember the name of the event at this moment^^ ) "

    9. @J Ong thank you for sharing the story of your personal encounter with Park Si Hoo. Such an unexpected meeting is something every fan would die for.^^ About calling Park Si Hoo "Oppa". You felt cheated, but I think it's a compliment. You must look young and beautiful for your real age. Park Si Hoo must have felt honored being called "Oppa" by you. I would have done so right away.^^

  3. I distinctly remembered it was 2013, cos I had remarked that after the last drama broadcasted in SG was Princess Prosecutor, I don't see him in any other dramas. To that he said there is another and then he said he won't be acting again so soon... his expression showed some sadness when he said that and then I recalled a news article published on Straits Times entertainment section about his scandal case in Korea and I inquired if that 's the reason for him not acting anytime then. At that point it is where his bro became very defensive and tell me to watch my words. I was taken back a bit and got angry with the way his bro's tone of voice then and glared at him. ^^ I can be fierce when people don't talk nicely to me.... ^^

  4. I did asked PSH how come situation like that can cause him to "lose" his acting job in Korea and he told me that's how Korea is like. I did commented that it is a bit unusual as such "scandal" are quite "normal" in USA and even HK but the artist are not prevented from acting again! Anyway, I comforted him by saying since he can't act in Korea, given his great acting skill, he can try acting in other countries. USA and China came to my mind as the markets are the biggest. But I noticed that Asians acting in USA are typically stereotyped in action pack movie and he is not an action pack type of actor based on his past works. I asked if he can speak mandarin (Chinese national language) and he said he can't speak well but can write and understand. He tried saying a few words in Mandarin which made me laughed.... (sorry don't meant to be rude to him)... I told him to practice speaking the language since he knows how to read and write, it is a v good. The hardest part of learning Mandarin is reading and writing. Speaking the language is no problem as long as u say it often. I told him to give it a try and that sometimes when our life encounter setbacks, it is not necessarily the end but a potential opportunity to succeed elsewhere. I said this based on my personal experience as I had encountered setbacks in my youth which when an opportunity is presented to me to bounce back I grabbed it n has not regretted it since then. So I'm pleasantly surprised and happy that he did try and acted in the Chinese "Scent" movie. I hope I can find a way to watch the movie even if I have to buy a DVD. ^^

  5. My guess of what PSH is doing now would be that he is waiting and assessing the outcome of the movie "Scent" in China and subsequently if the movie will get shown in other countries and how he will be paid from all the ticket sale.... I don't know how the Chinese movie and drama production compensate their artist for every movie or drama produced so I guess he doesn't either...? hence need to wait and see how it work out.... if all things work out well (especially if he gets compensated decently), then will he be considered the first Korean Hallyu star that has succeeded in penetrating the Chinese market? If yes, I'll be very happy for him! ^^

  6. To clarify my point on the scandal matter I talk abt, if an artist is not found guilty by law then the artist would usually not be prevented from acting in USA or HK. Only if the artist is found guilty then there's the jail term to complete first. There's one exception that is quite big in HK though - r u aware of Eddison Chen's case? He was a rising star in HK but because his personal storage of indecent photos of all his past girlfriends some who are famous HK celebrities were found by an IT repair shop assistant and got posted onto the internet, that guy got into v serious trouble with the HK triads and thus he could not continue his acting career in HK. He got into trouble with the triads because one of the girls happen to be a niece of a triad boss. There's nothing against the law for him to keep such photos in his personal pc but because the pc crashed and was sent for repair, he forgot that all the photos can be "stolen" by the IT person n thus affected his acting career.

  7. If my comments above is disturbing, please delete them so that it will not affect PSH's comeback. I sincerely wish that he will be able to have a comeback soon then I can have more entertaining K dramas to watch. ^^ good nite!

    1. J Ong, Your story is a treasure for all PSH's fans!^^ Do not worry about it. Your sincerity about the case and beyond when you encountered with him is just whatever in our mind too and I know you just try to comfort him. But because Wu Ho was kind of over-protective his brother's sensitive felling in that moment, I know you forgave him now but to get upset with him in that moment. It's reasonable!^^ We're so glad that he can open his mind a litle bit during that time to talk to you about the case & how he understood what would effect in his career. We're just surprise to learn that he can carry the long conversation like this in English with you. And I thought both of them expected you wouldn't recognize them who they were that's why they picked to ask you, fortunately! Otherwise we won't hear the story like this from you!^^

My Korean friend told me that. It's common to ask someone their age right away after they have a conversation with you. So our Park Si Hoo is a real Korean that what my friend said!^^ Because in Korea, it's very important to position the person by age not just calling someone name like in Western culture. He's showing his respect to you that's why he tried to figure out how old are you then he can position you correctly and becaue of that Wu Ho was more polite toward you. And my friend said to tell you to call him " Oppa " it's a kind of joke that Korean like to do and she consider him very cute!^^ He just teasing you, J Ong! I wish I will be teased by Park Si Hoo like you, J Ong! You are lucky girl! Don't you know that!^^

Scent will be a big success, I'm sure for that! Who know a little chat with you about learning Chinese & work in China can be a little spark into his mind since then before he started getting a lot of offers or " Love call " from oversea! I'm glad you have turn out to be his fan finally then your encounter with him will be with your memory forever. I hope you will get a chance to meet him again and let's see your " Oppa " can remember you! A smart & wise Singaporean girl who told him to practice Chinese!^^

  8. I have also been reading the other blog PSH4U and the latest article shows the disappointment and frustration of a fan who feel great injustice for PSH in missing out on the CF advertising income that is going to the latest 2 hot stars KSH and LMH. To me, these 2 have to get as many advertising as possible as both of them will be enlisted next year so their respective agency are "milking" them for all that they are worth. Who knows if they can regain their popularity or not after 2 yrs of military enlistment? As long as PSH maintains his looks and health and his Greek-like body, I'm sure he can capture all the CF advertisements he wants when he can go back to Korea to act. That shower scene photo posted above on this blog always threaten to give me nose bleed.... XD Xp

    1. I love your positive thinking , J! What can we do about the other actors get their last chunk of money when they have chance to do! As I always said there are so many rooms for other actors to be in the same business with him. PSH can't play in every dramas or any advertise. We just have to be patience for his turn to come. He doesn't need to be in a small advertise anymore. After Scent he will be a real Asian Hallyu star. who else doesn't want him to be their presentor when his face is admred by so many people through out Asian continient!^^ I love being positive it makes us happy & have high hope for him! Oh! That's Greek-like body you mentioned...please don't make me swoon again!^^

      Really enjoy talking to you!^^

  9. U r welcome. ^^ That rabbit emoticon dancing is really like the way PSH dance in Cheongdam-dong Alice drama. v cute. Men don't usually remember such chance encounter with girls esp since it happened 1 yr ago... I'll always have this as one of my beautiful memories to recall. ^^ BTW did u go to PSH's birthday party in Buyeo, Nikki? If yes, I'm envious. How did those fans got the invitation? Thru Sihoorang ? I don't see any fan fr SG, mostly Japanese and Chinese, right? Even if there's an opportunity for me to attend such fanmeet in Korea, I can't go cos my hubby won't like it... 8p But if he ever hold a fanmeet in SG, i'll definitely buy a ticket (the front row seats) to see him.... ^^

    1. I wasn't lucky enough to attend his birthday at Buyeo either! This birthday party ran by mentor ( The company that sell his magazine " ENISHI " in Japan if I understand correct their base is in Korea but they have business in Japan the most. Then they cooperated this event with his fan club in Japan to set up the tour/ Later his Chinese & Korean fans would like to join the event but they had to buy a ticket and set up their own group tour to join Japanese fans but because the event created for Japanese fans. So during his meeting at the hotel they had only Japanese interpreter there. I want to come to his next Korean fan meeting if he will have one in future. I have many friends both Korean & Oversea that we promised to each other if it really happens we will be there to see him & meet each other for real! Please join us J. & everyone! We will rock S.Korea together. Just bring your husband with you, J! But if it's not possible. Who know a chance for him to be there is possible too!^^
