The 50th Grand Bell (Daejong) Film Festival has just announced candidates in the main sectors.
At 11:00 a.m. on October 17 at Seoul’s Grand Hyatt Seoul, a press conference was held to announce the Grand Bell (Daejong) Film Festival finalists.
Works which have entered the finals include “Confession of Murder”, “New World”, “The Berlin File”, “Miracle in Cell No.7″, “The Face Reader”, “The Tower”, “Wolf Boy”, “My PS Partner”, etc. — a total of 21 movies. These movies are in contention for 19 awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, etc.
Two movies – “Miracle in Cell No.7″ and “The Face Reader” – are in fierce competition and are nominated in several categories: Best Director, Best Screenwriter, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, as well as in Cinematography, Editing, Lighting, Art, Music, and Costumes.
In addition, Park Si Hoo who was involved in a sex scandal is in the running for Rookie Best New Actor Award in his debut movie “Confession of Murder”. He made an official apology on October 3 and there is immense interest when he will make his comeback.
Meanwhile, the 50th Grand Bell (Daejong) Film Festival will be held in Yeouido KBS Hall on Nov.1 from 19:35 and will be televised live at KBS2.

Thanks, Wilma! I agreed if it's a good & big news. We must spread the words for PSH"s fans to be happy. And It's really a great news. Only one minus for me is the way the writer had to mention about the scandal twice and the word scandal isn't enough then have to add detail about it. I'm realy sick of these Korean reporters.

I'm very curious about SBS Drama Awards. In voting CDDA remains in the top 3. So it's not impossible nominations will follow here as well. ^^
