'My Golden Life' finally broke the wall of 40% audience rating. 

It is a record of over 3 months broadcasting.

KBS 2TV weekend drama 'My Golden Life', which was broadcast on Dec 10, 

exceeded the audience rating of 40%. with 41.2% ( nationwide) was recorded. 

On 26th Episode it's recorded 39% on Nov 26. In addition, 

it is a figure corresponding to the highest audience rating of KBS drama this year.

The first broadcast rating was high. It started with 19.7% high audience rating 

and achieved remarkable achievement of exceeding 30% in 4 weeks of broadcasting.

 KBS weekend drama has always had a high audience rating due to 

the fixed-viewing audience, but the rise of 'My Golden Life' was remarkable.

In just four weeks of broadcasting, 

it had exceeded 30%,and viewers were interested in 

whether this drama could break the wall of 40%. 

audience ratings that is like  a 'dreams' rating.

'My Golden Life' has steadily increased its ratings even after exceeding 30%. 

On the 26th of last month, the ratings increased to 39%. 

In addition, it receives the overwhelming support of the viewers, 

and the broadcasting of Saturday which is relatively lower 

than the audience on Sunday is reached 35%.

However, after recording 39%, the story was poorly supported and the ratings dropped. 

The love lines of Choi Do Kyung (Park Si Hoo) and Seo Ji An (Shin Hye Sun) 

were frustrated and caused audiences' irritation.

Last week's audience rating was 38.8% on Sunday, and viewers wanted more speedy story. 

From the broadcast on Dec 3, the story speeded up as the interest of viewers. 

Choi Do Kyung refused to marry Jang Sora (Yoo In-young) and realized a love for Jian.

In the end, 'My Golden Life' has recorded 41.2%, exceeding the audience rating of 40%. 

I am now interested in whether this drama will break the wall of 50%.

2. 'My Golden Life had breakthrough 40% rating after three years

The audience rating of 40% means that more than 2 out of 5 households in Korea 

stopped all other activities during this time and watched 'My Golden Life' in front of TV. 

In the scene (20:45 broadcast) where Sora ordered Jian to give her a gift for engagement 

with Do Kyung, the audience rating had risen to 42.4%. 

The audience rating of 'My Golden Life' is 4.9 percentage points higher than 

the highest audience rating of 35.3% recorded on KBS2  previous drama 'Dawn of the Sun' 

on April 14, 2016. In addition, since January 18, 2015, 

KBS2 drama 'Since the family came together' (45 episodes) 

is the highest audience rating with 40.5%. It's already about three years 

since any program in S.Korea can reach 40% audience rating.

 'My Golden Life' is literally the best national drama. 

 'My Golden Life' is gaining popularity not only during the live broadcast 

but also on VOD (Repeat Vision). According to the TTA (integrated viewers) data 

of TNMS from November 19 to December 2, ) 

There were 70,000 people have watched the drama through VOD.

'My Golden Life' is enjoying the peak popularity not only 

during broadcasting time but because the viewers who missed 

the broadcast time are watching through replay and rerun also.
