a major Edo-period city historical district that overlooks the Asanogawa River.

The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is a museum of contemporary art located in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan. The museum was designed by Japanese architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of the architectural office SANAA in 2004.

Shishiku Highland

Ski courses are constructed on this 350m highland, and visitors can ride on the gondola 

to get to the top. You can get a fantastic view of the wide Kanazawa plains and 

the alluvial fans of Tedorigawa River, as well as the Sea of Japan and the 

Alpine mountain ranges. There are also two leisure facilities, "Park Shishiku" 

and "Sky Shishiku", where visitors come and enjoy the winds of the 4 seasons. 

"Sky Shishiku" With over 20-years of history in flying sports, the Shishiku Highland

 has received great praises as a Mecca for hangliders and paragliders in the Hokuriku area. 

It is also selected as one of the best flying sports location by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Japan."Park Shishiku" Inside the Museum, 

there are lion masks and other articles related to the Lion Dance from around the world, 

as well as Japan's biggest wooden lion mask on display.
