Interview The Princess' Man music composer : It's the most difficult work!

We saw this news at NATE.
It's an interview of a wellknown Korean composer

Seong-Hwan

Who composed so many dramas' OST in Korea.

It's quite a long interview...and again we have to focus on Park Si Hoo's part only.
Please follow the link to read the whole article, thank you!

[Blue Interview with composer 'Seong Hwan',
Title : ' Mother' is a song of the Republic of Korea to the sensitivity
Korea Economic TV Source : Articles sent 2015-10-08

There is one man who dyed the Republic of Korea to the sensibility with the word  'Mother'.
Not long ago, the drama was aired as a Chuseok Special "Does mom's okay" and he was involved
as a music director. Soon the song 'Mother' and the lyrics 'IFL (I falling in love)' Rael,
compositions by composer aroused greater interest than the drama itself.
And "Seong Hwan ' is the main character.

PART. 2 composer "Seong Hwan" My music

* ( This part when he answered about " The Princess' Man " )

Q.  He worked for several dramas and a lot of movies too.
Much less involved many difficulty. We would like to hear
what is your the most difficult works and why.

A. KBS was broadcast on Park Si Hoo's drama, it was <The Princess' Man>
He was casted with Moon Chae-won. writing this drama's OST,
it was the most difficult work for me. The atmosphereof the play becomes more intense
than when I worked for modern period. Should we interfere with the engagement
of the play? Both the drama and the OST song's was a hard work in the show.
I think the day when I written down two melodies just for the topic to fit
with the concept ofthe play and the lyrics it requires a lot of effort to get vocal control.

------------------------------

So many OST in this drama and all of them are unique & special in our heart in many different ways.
So I decided to pick this OST because it was a sad song and suit the way he described from above!

Song  : I Will Wait For You (기다릴게)

    1. I really don't have a favorite one because I like them all! As he said the story was so intense, it's really upon the emotion in each scenes, some lighter than the others! What I know is he's the reason of the success of this drama as well as Park Si hoo who did his part as the interpreter of Kim Seung Yoo! No one can deny the OST in this drama are the masterpiece as Park Si Hoo himself!

  3. This is first time I learn about the composer of TPM’s OST, which I consider a masterpiece as drama is. Thanks Nikki for sharing and maybe someday you’ll post another great sad song that I like very much “Goodbye my love”.

    1. You're welcome, Daniela! I am so glad that finally he told us about his own experience with the drama ( we love so much ). We learned before from Park Si Hoo's interview how much he had to work very hard to analyze the character of Kim Seung Yoo and went to the whole preiod of exhaustion through out the shooting time. And finally I think we found another person who worked behind the scene and went throught that emotions with Park Si Hoo! He must put himself into Kim Seung Yoo's heart as well and with the actor who can intepret that role perfectly as Park Si Hoo, it probably made him have even harder time to catch up with that superb acting of Park Si Hoo and sure he did!^^
