I’m a bit disappointed too they reduced number of eps that were initially announced, but this could be just their politics and they could add more eps later. Maybe the director doesn’t want to go through Basketball drama situation when were announced 24 eps and it ended after 18.
ReplyDeleteI think will be everybody lost (their and ours) if they’ll finish drama too early as it was with PP or even TPM. I wonder why they needed two years of pre-production / preparation for just 16 eps drama, perhaps I’ll receive the answer while watching the results.

Yes, Daniela! Everything always has reasons, only they can't tell us all! But the certain thing is. I don't think there is a chance for drama to be extended more episodes due to this is a post-production drama! Everything will get done before the drama even be broadcast! If something can happen due to the drama's so succcessful is ... the season 2!^^

DeleteWhat it means ( My opinion ) The story & production won't be rush to get it done just to be on time before broadcasting the next day ( as most K-dramas always do and exhaust all the actors & staffs ) Just think this way, it will produce the way movie productions do ; well prepared, well organized, no rush to get it done, the script will be as plan, no changing or adjusting! I think it will do well especially with actiion drama that need a lot of time for the special effect to get it right in front of the viewers! They do that in Hollywood TV show nowadays that start even more popular than movies such as " Game of throne " or " Breaking bad " !^^

DeleteWhat I wanted to say here is if they initially announced 20 eps this means they had a story to tell in 20 eps. Now they cut 4 eps, this means, for me, they shortened the story and / or rushed the end of drama, or they changed the initial plot, whatever. Sorry again^^.
No problem, Daniela! Fun to exchange our thought! Right or wrong, it's not the point both of us just guess! And this is my theory again that it may have to do with the budget! This drama's budget already high compares with other dramas so the highly technologies they use in here , the more money have to spend for! The part of the storyline may not change much but the action scenes may have to be re-adjusted, won't go over the budget!^^
