Dreaming of you ...

“I wish to be a tree and grow
near your window Park Si Hoo, I’d hear you
and freely I’d watch you all day long.
I would begin to blossom in winter
to enjoy you. The most handsome
birds would make their nest on my branch,
and the nights would give me earrings of stars,
witch, as leaves, I’d offer you.
Through the wide opened window, often
I would lean lightly, to kiss
your hair fallen on your forehead
or your lips, with soft lips of flowers.
In the autumn I’d play, throwing apples
and red gold leaves into your room,
with the young power of the branches
I would defend your shutters from the rain.
And, who knows, maybe one evening
of spring, when the moon will rise,
through the garden a good fairy will pass
making me a woman again.”
