Updated : Let's introduce : Jessey Tsang Tsui Shan , director in PSH's new film

Some misreading from the news that A famous director " Chen Gai Ke " will be a director of Park Si Hoo's new film but actually there will be only one director who will be in charge of this film and that person is Jessey Tsang Tsui Shan

~ Tsang Tsui-Shan : She is a young film director from Hong Kong. Her name is Jessey Tsang Tsui Shan & her last film 'Big Blue Lake' & won the Best New Director award in HK 2012 Film Awards.

Her previous interview : http://www.easternkicks.com/features/on-the-road-again-an-interview-with-tsang-tsui-shan

And we have VDO clip of her latest film " Big Blue Lake " to show you.  It's a short clip but just give you the idea of her work and her style and I think I like what I saw in here!

  1. Thanks Nikki. Happy to hear that reputable directors are to direct PSH's new movie. Pray all goes well for him in this new project. May God Bless and Guide Him in the filming of this movie.

Here's what I gathered about Tsang Tsui Shan from link below:

    http://www.naehk.com/2013/en/events/past.php

Tsang Tsui-shan, graduated from the School of Film and TV of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, she majored in sound design in 2001. Tsang later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Media Design and Technology program of the City University of Hong Kong in 2005. Her works have been presented in countries such as Italy, Germany and Poland. Her first narrative short Lonely Planet has won the Silver Award at ifva in 2004. In 2006, she started to participate in the production of commercial films, such as Lust Caution, The Mummy 3, Strawberry Cliff etc., working as assistant director, location sound assistant and production co-ordinator. In the meantime, she continued to work on her independent films. She finished her second narrative short Où est la sortie? in 2007, upon a grant awarded by the Alliance Française in Hong Kong. She was invited in 2008 by CHATEAU de PADIES to be the featured artist in France for a month. In the same year, her first feature film Lovers On the Road has won the Best Drama Award of the 8th South Taiwan Film Festival. Tsang was awarded the Best New Director in the 31st Hong Kong Film Award and New Talent Award in the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2011 with her second feature film Big Blue Lake. Tsang is now the Production Director at River Vision Production.

  3. Thanks Nikki for sharing more information about the two directors. Anonymous thank you too for sharing what you have found about the female director.
I have learned to know about Park Si Hoo he has high standards in chosing his roles. They must be challenging and he must have the feeling "This is it". He must have confidence in the abilities of both the scriptwriter(s) and directors. This movie is about a Korean interior designer. Besides photography something Si Hoo likes to do very much himself. So I'm sure this movie will show some ind of fireworks for us.^^

  4. Thank you all for this information. I hear his leading female actress is also a rising star. does any one know any information about her? I also think he is in good hands. Also knowing that the company that will be in charge of this film production is a well established company in china that also by its self is I believe a blessing. Let continue our prayers for PSH and do our part in voting in all voting sites collectively as his family of fan.

    1. Hi, everyone! I will upload her profile as much as I know very soon. This's exciting news indeed . The more you dig in to the details the more we feel confident about this project! Park Si Hoo never disappointed us! And I'm glad he picked a drama not action. Many people said he should avoid romance or love story but we can see Park Si Hoo has his own plan not just follow some critics who know nothing about acting!
