I have always wonder how Park Si Hoó's Chinese name should be pronounced especially his family name. Finally using my iphone to identify the Chinese character 朴施厚 these should be pronounced as Pu Shi Ho [ this is the English pronunciation of the Chinese words known as Hanyu Pinyin (汉语拼音) ]
I don't understand why the Chinese pronounced as Piao Shi Ho instead....
I'm confirmed that his Chinese name should be pronounced as Pu Shi Ho as there is an article in PSH4U on what PSH want his fans to know the correct meaning of his Chinese name.
"PSH’s Chinese name used to be written in the press as 朴時厚 . This reporter took the initiative to ensure his name was properly written. PSH pointed out that the second character should be 施 and not 時 – his name means “布施”与“仁厚” (spread the kindness.) So this is your Chinese lesson for the day – PSH’s Chinese name is 朴施厚."
A check on internet Chinese dictionary http://www.nciku.com/ on “布施” means charity 与 means participate “仁厚” means honest and kind hearted. So in short Park Si Hoo's Chinese name meant he is an honest and kind hearted person who is charitable.
" He is an honest and kind hearted person who is charitable " This description just suits our Park Si Hoo, thanks, J!^^ Chinese language is so beautiful and have so many meaning only just one character, likes Park Si Hoo himself!
