Regarding statement release from KEMA...
Hi, this is my personal opinion (it is not an official statement from the Hoo Factory).
KEMA is nothing but a small private organisation established for the interests of managers and has no authority to approve or disapprove of an actor's activity in Korean entertainment industry.
As you are well aware, Mr Hwang who is the CEO of Eyagi (Park Sihoo's previous agency) is on the current board of the members for KEMA, which immediately discredits the authencity of this so called statement on Park Sihoo returning to work as an actor.
(I mean, who asked for their statement in the first place?)
There are more than hundreds of actors working in Korea today and it is obviously an orchestrated work by Mr Hwang who seems not yet finished with tainting Park Sihoo's public imge,who came up with this little stunt out of panic.
With the news upon the media about Park Sihoo due to start work in 2014, Mr Hwang seems to have brainstormed and came up with this little stunt that will be just another example of trash reporting by the biased media (towards Mr Hwang naturally).
Therefore, besides leaving comments on relevant articles in favour of Park Sihoo and appealing to the public how his comeback is desired by fans from all over the world, I personally dont see anything else we can do to minimise this crass action by KMEA.
In fact, the more we rattle about it, the less it will do any good for Park Sihoo.
We want this article out of the spotlight as soon as possible.
It was in the main portal news for about 6 hours or so but it has been overtaken by other
news from entertainment.
All in all, I think there is nothing more that fans can do or need to do about it at this stage.
We have been through hell and back last year and we came out of it strong so I think
we will weather this storm without too much upset in our lives.
Of course, we will constantly keep an eye on the news to see if there is anything
we need to take action in.

ReplyDeleteYour 1st 2 opening paragraphs clearly discredit the importance of KEMA's announcement and assuaged our fears how it could impact PSH and his comeback to Korean entertainment. Yes, we are toughened after going through the storm last year. Together, and with God's blessings, we will overcome this stage with PSH. Fighting^^
It's clear Mr Hwang is behind this. He put his case to KEMA when he couldn't do anything against Park Si Hoo legally. Remains to be seen who will follow his track, but for the time being that is not our concern.
ReplyDeleteThis is really an irony of fate, kbs2 chose the actor as lead role of its drama "Joseon Shooter" and he is Iljimae - Lee Jun Ki. He received the proposal and I think he will accept.
DeleteShame, shame, shame on kbs, because at some level they know the whole truth regarding PSH, but they are unpardonable obedient toward kema, mainly as a public television who not depends on sponsorship that much.
I think the korean fans must reconsider their perspective.
