No time to turn back, scratching our head or having a heartache. If we don't want to see Park Si Hoo acts like that we have to be strong and be positive. If one door close then you just have to look for another door! Park Si Hoo will be back in China again soon. He will start with his International car show in Xinjiang on March 15 and Scent Promotion in Beijing on March 26 and so on... He will be busy in many places in China and later maybe in Japan as well.
I know everywhere he goes, there will be his fans around him but I'm wonder if we can make it big again! Big enough to catch many eyes like during his shooting in Shanghai! That's too much to ask for my Chinese friends!^^ We must show Park Si Hoo that he still loved and loved even more from you.
I just read a comment from his fans who said after she heard about the news : " She is not sure she can live long enough to see him come back to S.Korea again " It really broke my heart, my tear came down unstoppably! I'm not sure she just said that out of frustration or what her health condition is in right now?
How many fans like this around the world that love him unconditional and want to live and be happy to see him come back where he's belong. Do KEMA really understand how important Park Si Hoo means for us especially fan like her. If KEMA really care about using Korean culture to bridge themselves to the outside world. Park Si Hoo will be one of their best choice to use not to destroy.

We will fight and we will stand by him! This is the critical time to show him our support and to comfort him there will be many places for him to go.
He can reach the world stage and he will be one of the most respect Korean actor of all time. The world has changed his move to join the movie " Scent " have shown us how wise & wide his view about the entertainment world and what direction the wind is turning ?
But we will still put pressure from both domestic & oversea on KEMA. We will make a campaign all year long for KEMA to reconsider their decision as soon as possible. We will never give up to see him back in Korea again!

And remember your fans will never leave you, everytime thing like this happen it makes us come closer and realize nothing more important than supporting you and see you happy and smile once more. Then keep smiling, we love you!^^

KEMA's statement was a big and unexpected blow. I don't really know what's the influence or function of KEMA. If it is an advisory it's up to the entertainment world and broadcasting companies whether they follow or not the KEMA statement. For now KEMA is only serving a minority group which had lured Park Si Hoo into a trap first and because they regard him as threat they want him out of the way. Domestic fans and fans from abroad are raising their voices everywhere and as far I can judge they are the majority. KEMA didn't only hurt Park Si Hoo but also all of his true fans who never stopped believing in Park Si Hoo. If no one dares to break a pattern in Korea Park Si Hoo is forced to move field to the countries that welcome him with open arms. It's a reality we all have to deal with.

Actor Kang Ji Hwan decides to withdraw from PD Kim Jeong-Hak’s medical drama “Faith.”
Kang Ji Hwan and his agency recently conveyed this decision to the production company and the Korean Entertainment Management Association.
Kang Ji Hwan, who was embroiled in a legal battle with his former agency, Jambo Entertainment, over a contract termination dispute, made a comeback in the SBS drama “Coffee House” which aired this year. He has since decided on “Faith” as his next project and was planning to start filming early next year, but has come to a decision to withdraw before the filming started. The reason for this decision is getting attention.
Kang Ji Hwan, who was in a conflict not only with his former agency, but also with the Korean Entertainment Management Association, further caught displeasure from the Management Association with news of his casting in “Faith.”
Even though the legal dispute with his former agency was settled amicably, the fact that he continued his activity without self-imposing a period of inactivity antagonized the Association to make them demand a boycott from the production company of “Faith”, Kim Jeong-Hak Production. They asked the actors who are members of the Association to not participate in “Faith.”
Pressured by the Association, the production company asked Kang Ji Hwan to resolve the issued with the Association first and Kang Ji Hwan’s agency took reconciliatory steps to mend the relationship. Kang Ji Hwan’s current agency even went as far as pushing forward to join the Association, but things did not go their way. Eventually, they ended up announcing they Kang Ji Hwan will withdraw from “Faith.”
Kang Ji Hwan and his agency sent the Association an official notice of withdrawing from “Faith” and at the same time even accepted the Association’s recommendation to refrain from any entertainment activity for a while. They reiterated their intention of joining the Association and asked for their cooperation.
The reaction of the entertainment industry is divided on this issue. There are those who maintain a strong position saying “In order to prevent this issue from happening again, whatever necessary sanctions should be taken against Kang Ji Hwan, who ignored the Association’s recommendation and continued to participate in activities even during the period of the dispute.”
However, there are also those who say “The Association should have taken a stronger position at the time he appeared in his first drama during the dispute. They did not interfere at that time, and the fact that they are putting on pressure so that Kang Ji Hwan, who is not even a member of the Association, cannot work is a problem.

DeleteWilma, we also can suppose that kema forced KJH to drop the lead role in “Faith” because, in fact, they wanted that role for Lee Min Jo, which he and his agency, maybe are kema members. In the same conditions KJH played in “Coffee House” without kema being involved and suddenly just for “Faith” kema said no way, KJH needs self-restraint.

Is Kim Hyun Soo sustained to take Park Si Hoo place in sk at any cost? We will see in which drama this actor will play in near future.
I suppose that neither Hoo Factory nor PSH are kema members, but KHS and his agency are.
Hi Anonymous, How do you know that KHS and his agency are kema members? How can committee of kema act independently and fairly for the good of the nation if it they owe a duty to favour those agencies that are members of the association?
DeleteAnonymous 1, we don't know what's going on behind the scene. The rumors about Kim Hyun Soo I've heard too. That Park Si Hoo was passed in favor of KHS because he was the ward of a big company.

DeleteAnonymous 2, kema is a sort of syndicate / trade union of korean stars agencies and I think that its members make annual money subscription and have reps inside as Hwang-Eyagi, so they mainly sustained its members interests and if the biggest and most important agencies are members kema then this "syndicate of crime" behaves as a dictatorship with drama producers. Please notice that I said maybe about KHS and his agency... For me, this KHS is too aggressively extolled at his young age, give me a break he isn't offbeat talented as he is depicted.

I've roughly read Jade's thoughts and also the two articles mentioned in reply to my comment. Sorry, but I don't trust KEMA for a dime. The earlier case of Kang Ji Hwan confirms my own thoughts that KEMA lends their power to how the broadcasting and production companies respond to their statement. They don't avoid using blackmail when a company wants to follow its own path. So I'm glad Park Si Hoo is having his activities in China and Japan for the coming few months, but it remains to be seen the moment Park Si Hoo is getting an offer and he is going to accept this. I hope for KBS next project "The Joseon Shooter". That role would fit Park Si Hoo so much.^^

The reproach of KBS could be a threat not to cast PSH .... not so much for golden cross (as this is a closed case) but may be for other coming projects...perhaps, TJS. While this is only my speculation, we do not know what's their hidden agenda for opposing PSH's return now. TJS is scheduled for telecast sometime in June, and so the recruit of cast could be as early as April for filming to commence sometime in May... so 'competitors' for the role would have to act now.
The initiative campaign by fans to write in to KBS for PSH for TJS (initiated on 2 Mar 1 day after KEMA's earlier statement on 1 Mar) could have triggered kema's opposing stand. Again, I stressed this is only my speculation. I could be paranoid, but my understanding of SK from the many k-dramas that I watched is 'power of the rich". The conglomerates / big bosses are known to bribe their way to get what they want.... nothing is played fair.
Anonymous. Your speculation may be right. It's my thinking as well and I am absolutely not paranoid. What happened during Joseon Era is still happening now. Most of the time the people with power and money try to control the lesser fortunate. When others try to oppose them the dirty play starts.
DeleteHello all, I'm so sorry for myself that I missed the back & forth of all PSH's fans here!^^ I can tell that all of you care about him so deeply! I wish he can know how much we care about him! I have little messages from Mr. Rayn who in charnge of promotion movie Scent. Of course he is Chinese. Before he involved in this project ( Scent ) He knew nothing about Park Si Hoo but the more he knew about him & work closer to him I think Mr. Rayn has realized who is Park Si Hoo. I won't tell you exactly what he said you can read by yourself but I just want to ask all of us that please stay together, hold our hands tight! He still have many obstacles to go through. Do not give up on him , he need his fans badly when the time like this.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I see about KEMA is they are nothing but a group of big bullies ( Big agency companies) that try to control the whole E-business and to make sure no one can come against them or any new agency comapny like Hoo-factory can survive. And what KEMA did about another actor who you mentioned before or PSH 's case even give me more confident that if PSH agreed to sign his new contact with Eyagi in early 2013. All that incident wouldn't happen with him. All of you know what I mean like! Then we don't need to ask anyone that our actor is innocent or not because this evil's act has confirmed us by itself.
I believe good always win at the end! Our friend, Jade who is really on of among the leader of SHR, has said this to me. If Park Si Hoo has fans like this current one he has then he can make it through and so are we!

"The Great Doctor/ Faith was a drama that was scheduled to be on air at 2011, and the main actor was Kang Ji Hwan.

But at that time, KJH had a hard time because of the agency conflict.
KJH's ex-egency (Jambo entertainment) was a member of CEMA (Corea entertainment management association).
CEMA took side with Jambo and obstructed KJH to be in the drama.
So he had to quit the drama even he already shooted the trailer.
But Jambo came out to be guilty and the court verdicted Jambo to compensate 500 million won to KJH.
So unfortunately, now we can't see KJH's The Great Doctor/Faith. "
I saw the trailer on YT and the comm above is from there. At that time, 2011, the production was canceled and the new version was aired barely in 2012 with Lee Min Jo, another actor overvalued, but not as good as KJH.

Dear friends, I really appreciated all of you for your input about other cases & informations you are sharing. We are one actor blog here so I assumes all of us are big fans of Park Si Hoo that while we are here and how much I don't like people comments anything negative on our beloved actor so we should respect others actors as well! I hope you understand what I mean. Korean Entertainment world have enough rooms for many talented actors to share their passions but the one we should get rid of is the evil guy who are too ugly to be on screen because of their evil mind. So please continue your conversations that I really enjoy a lot but just avoid mentioning about other actors as much as possible!

I agree with all of you. I have read many comments about PSH from many articles. There are lot of comments that can ruin PSH reputation. (example he being rapist). I felt very upset and I didn't know how to stop them because (1). My English is poor, (2). I know nothing about his ex agency, KEMA and how they are working.

I think this knowledge about KEMA , agencies of member of KEMA and all of their conflicts should put on the media so that stupid viewers who point their finger to PSH can realize and understand what is exactly happen.
If Korean viewers can understand the whole story of KEMA, agency and PSH, then they should support PSH.
I hope and pray that in the near future there is a reporter of Korea who can find the truth of this mafia net working and clear PSH'name.

We'd best move forward. Though Park Si Hoo didn't comeback in South Korea yet, his success in China because of the movie "Scent" is amazing. Despite last year's incident Park Si Hoo has a very faithful fandom which has only grown bigger since then.^^
