Park Si Hoo an Actor with Endurance

The Smile of Endurance

I like this picture very, very much and I want to prize it by the lines below.

Endurance is the basic ability to bear something hard and painful, for a long time.

Endurance is a great indication of a person’s strength of character.

Endurance is not something that everybody can show in adverse circumstances. It takes a lion’s heart to bear adversities and steer through them, bravely.

Endurance is the hallmark of all great achievers.

Endurance is the God-gifted ability not only of bearing a hard thing, but to turn it into glory.” (Unknown author)

There are endurance/ultra endurance sports. For example to run a marathon (the classic distance of 42.195 km) means endurance and to run longer than a marathon distance (50  km and more) is ultramarathon, meaning ultra endurance. I am a big admirer of the athletes who practice these sports.

Park Si Hoo disclosed that he ran the Honolulu marathon three times, so we can jump into conclusion that he likes the challenges, which involve endurance, it's in his nature. To be an actor of Korean drama (and movie) needs a lot of endurance. It's as if he runs an ultramarathon, filming many hours each day for a few months (or more), often at extreme temperatures wearing clothing inappropriate to weather, sleeping less, being ready in every moment and so on. I think that, especially for his roles in the period dramas "Iljimae" and "The Princess’ Man", he proved a tough endurance during the shooting.

Park Si Hoo reaches professional excellence, always giving his best effort.

  1. Dear Daniela, Park Si Hoo is indeed a man who has a lot of endurance. His family always said PSH never gives up when he started something and he will keep going until he sees the end of it! Those 10 years obstacle is one of them to prove that. Everyone said yes, life is tough and everyone of us have to deal with that kind of hardship once in our life time but as we know his family's status. We know he didn't do it because he had no choice but being the actor is the choice he picked to be. Then keep going Park Si Hoo and thank you again, Daniela for this wonderful piece of yours!^^
