Interview : [Kim Minseong’s Star Attraction Report] ‘Somebody Upcoming 2006’ Park Sihoo

Interestingly, there are innumerable audience who say like that. In fact, although drama writers as well have much trouble in making up their stories, but more difficulties of them are how they liven up the characters and how well the created characters are embodied by performers.

The dramas which were prime for the early or middle parts are many cases disregarded by audience according as some incurious characters appear, and so is the case the other way around. ‘Let’s Get Married,’ which was interesting but of no special hit, is applicable to the latter.

For, ‘Park Sihoo’ insidious 6 years senior to Chu Sangmi after whom he tenaciously follows completely caught the eyes of the audience, although proficient performers like Gang Seongyeon, Chu Sangmi and Yun Dahun gathered and managed to fare well from the onset.

Oriental eyes without double eye-lids, fair-skinned face and big-figured and well-built Park Sihoo’s appearances look attractive especially these days.

In an angle, he is considerably sharp, so that he might be suitable for a cold elite person. With a smile spreading over such a face without a smallest gap of even a needle prick, the surroundings of him brighten up.

Although he also is a gentleman like Han Seokgyu and Bae Yongjun, yet a difference from them is that he has an air of exclusiveness, who is not kind to everybody but smiles only at a single person for whom he has affection only once in a very long while.

I guess the reason why woman fans were attracted by this surprise-appeared man junior to them is because they might have been drenched with the attraction of this man who might seem to ‘behave insidiously only to themselves’ in their vision.

Although Park Sihoo is a new face, he has been long since his debut.

Attending the studies industriously in the educational institution where I teach, he built up training on the theatrical stage 1998. And he has been cultivating himself through music videos and various minor roles for more natural performance rather than making a ‘sudden appearance’ of himself.

He is a all-round multi-talented sportsman in such as horse-riding, hapkido(a kind of self-defense martial arts) and boxing, which need a lot of practice.

Is it because of something a steady self-discipline? Chu Sangmi his counterpart of a couple in a drama said as follows: “Whether because he is a new face, he is a little in suspense before start of shooting, but once under shooting, he is very natural.”

This time assuming the role of the president of a book company who loves only a single woman in another drama ‘Which Star are you From,’ he will shed another good attraction mild and gentle.

While the previous drama showed ‘Park Sihoo cute guy,’this one is in expectation of showing ‘Park Sihoo perfect guy.’

Considering an actor who has built up his disciplined inner self little by little in a very long waiting, I the writor expect he would show us some pictures more various and fresh in the future.
